Donna is former Chief  Executive of the Royal College of Nursing, a Royal College and Trade Union, and former Chair of SH24 where she supported the growth of the organisation both nationally and internationally. She currently holds trustee positions across the health and the charity sectors. She has held numerous portfolios in the NHS and has worked in primary, community and acute care in senior management and clinical roles.

Donna Kinnair said:

“I am delighted to be joining the Runnymede Trust as Chair. I am looking forward to working with the board and staff in this important space as we seek to address racial inequality in the UK, thus promoting anti-racist practices and enabling all individuals and families to thrive.”

Donna takes over the position from Clive Jones, who first joined the charity as a trustee in 2002. We thank Clive for his unwavering and generous commitment to racial justice, and look forward to his continued support.

Clive Jones said:

“Donna will be a brilliant Chair of the Runnymede Trust. She brings a wealth of leadership experience and a burning commitment to race equality and social justice. She is the perfect person to take Runnymede forward on the next step of its journey."
