An exploration of the visibility of mixed-race identity in arts and culture in the UK. The report examines some of the assumptions that surround mixed identity, and places them in a historical, political and policy context.
Taking contributions from practitioners in the arts, many of whom have directly engaged with this issue , the report lays out the three key topics that arise from reflection on the debates: Recognition of Experience, Negotiation of Complexity and Politics of Ownership.
