Our response to the government's Curriculum and Assessment Review, in which we encourage the government to introduce amendments to the National Curriculum to embed statutory topics on race, migration and the British Empire, supplemented by the development and promotion of appropriate classroom resources and teaching guidance materials. Alongside this, we urge the Department for Education to establish formal structures of training and accreditation for Initial Teacher Education on anti-racism.
