The Runnymede Trust published David Faulkner's invited paper in 2004 on Civil Renewal, Diversity and Social Capital as part of a series of occasional papers - Runnymede Perspectives. This paper represents an early engagement with the government's policy agenda for addressing disadvantage in the workplace, and the Home Secretary's declared intention of making civil renewal 'the centerpiece of the government's reform agenda'.
